Slovenian Tourist Board promotes its countless cultural offerings at this year’s World Travel Market (WTM)
Between 5 - 7th November 2018, the Slovenian Tourist Board promoted its countless cultural offerings at this year’s World Travel Market as part of its 2018/2019 Year of Culture campaign. Following the campaign’s successful launch at last year’s WTM, the STB paid particular attention to its ancient castles and UNESCO heritage sites while maintaining its efforts to promote responsible tourism.
This year the Slovenian Tourist Board hoped to raise awareness for its lesser known sites and destinations to showcase those beyond tourism hotspots. Slovenia promoted its historic buildings and World Heritage sites in attempt to protect and preserve the country’s rich history, with a focus on its magnificent castles and ancient sites.
Slovenian startup Futourist also independently presented their first worldwide web platform powered by custom blockchain protocol.
Slovenian exhibitors at the WTM were also visited by Ambassador Rupel.
